I used to pay attention to the California physically and mentally, not
only because of the famous sceneries there but also because the research
I am working on currently, the wireless sensor network, originated from
the research institutes over there, like UC Berkely, Standford.
I saw recently from news that wildfires are abusing many areas in
California. I am wondering if there any researchers are working on
deploying wireless sensor networks into the usage of forest wildfire
alarm. Also, I was thinking any of possibilities of using WSNs for mid
West flooding warning system.
In my mind, the technology should stem from and back use in serving most
people's will and interests.
